Job summary

A leading carpet manufacturer is seeking an experienced Cut Table Operator for the 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11 pm–7:30 am. The role involves cutting and inspecting carpet fabrications, ensuring quality control, and providing backup support in a warehouse setting. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and strong time management and organizational skills. Additionally, a hiring bonus of up to $1,000 within the first year is offered. This is a full-time position located in Calhoun, GA.

Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cut fabrications as instructed.
• Inspect product at custom and stock production tables.
• Cut damaged pieces out of carpet rolls.
• Inspect returned carpet and return any undamaged product to inventory.
• Provide backup support to various production tables as needed.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands

Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. This position may often require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Incumbent will regularly be around moving machinery as well as marked changes in temperature and humidity.

Work Environment

This position requires work in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
