Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Cut Off Saw Operator for our Franklin, NH facility. You will safely run the Cut Off Saw and Wheelabrator, inspect products, and maintain equipment according to quality standards.

Responsibilities include blade changes, routine cleaning, and keeping a clean, safe work area. Prior manufacturing experience and attention to detail are preferred for this on-site role with standard production hours.

Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.Scope of PositionAs the Cut Off Saw Operator you will safely operate the Cut Off Saw and Wheelabrator while ensuring adherence to established manufacturing processes and quality standards. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect products for defects, maintain a safe and organized work area, and support daily production objectives.This position reports to the Production Supervisor, and is based in Franklin, NH.Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely operate the Cut Off Saw and report any mechanical malfunctions to maintenance or the Production Supervisor.Change worn blades and perform periodic cleaning of Wheelabrator screens to maintain equipment performance.Operate the Wheelabrator according to established manufacturing processes and quality standards.Inspect and identify manufacturing defects and styled parts, segregating any products that do not meet quality requirements.Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Report all quality concerns, injuries, illnesses, safety hazards, or incidents immediately to the Production Supervisor.Complete production records and other required documentation as assigned.Assume responsibility for additional projects and duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Company management.Travel Requirements: N/ARequired QualificationsBasic math skills necessary to perform essential job-related tasks.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Commitment to workplace safety, including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following all safety procedures.Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards.Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, company policies, regulations, and safety practices.Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred; relevant manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.Previous manufacturing experience preferred.Experience operating manufacturing equipment, including Cut Off Saws, Wheelabrators, or similar machinery.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.General Applicable Company CompetenciesCommitment to Watts’ values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.Punctuality and dependability.Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.Adherence to Watts’ seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.Working Conditions:While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility.
