Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. seeks a qualified Cut Floor Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee all cut floor production activities, guiding supervisors to meet volume, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in a processing plant, a high school diploma or GED (college training preferred), and strong communication skills. On-site, full-time position with adherence to labor contracts.

Qualifications

• Extensive production-specific technical skills across multiple jobs.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a processing plant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entire cut floor production and direct supervisors to meet production volume, quality, cost, and delivery dates.
• Train and develop supervisors to build management depth and teamwork.
• Review daily production schedules and assign tasks and personnel accordingly.
• Monitor machinery, equipment and facilities for proper operation and sanitation; ensure maintenance adherence.
• Maintain good employee relations and compliance with labor contracts.

General Description:

Assist in o versee ing entire cut floor production. Direct supervisors with respect to production volume, quality, cost and meeting production schedules and delivery dates. Train and develop supervisors to provide ma nagement depth and develop teamwork to attain department objectives. Review daily production schedule to plan work and personnel assignments. Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized. Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions.

• Extensive knowledge and technical skill in a variety of production jobs.
• Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in processing plant industry.
