Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • No industry experience required; 6+ months preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience using computer systems and data entry in a professional/educational environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate documentation for US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
  • Provide impeccable customer service to importers and internal teams.
  • Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases, SOPs, tariff books, or online resources.
  • Data entry and processing of various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs; may handle PGA filings.
  • Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
  • Adhere to all international importing/exporting regulations.
  • Work with internal staff, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and customers to deliver high-level service.
  • Process agency brokerage shipments; may handle remote filings.
  • Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
