Job summary

GHY is seeking a meticulous Customs Import Specialist to process shipment releases for our clients accurately and efficiently while delivering outstanding service. Reporting to the Client Care Manager, you will monitor entry folders, issue entries for ocean, air, truck, and rail shipments, and coordinate with carriers, vendors, and clients by phone and email.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12; brokerage/logistics experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry folders and prioritize shipments by ETA for customs submission.
• Process entries for ocean, air, truck, and rail shipments.
• Handle ISF, AES filings, prior notices, and manifests.
• Review documentation for complete entry packages before processing.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and clients by phone and email.
