What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and process entry documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs and federal regulations (EPA, FDA, etc.).
  • Handle incoming freight and documentation, assess fees, and ensure timely processing of shipments.
  • Serve as a key liaison between shippers, customs, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage data entry, maintain shipment files, and track cargo status with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Resolve issues by communicating clearly with domestic and international customers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through invoice and manifest review, and provide timely documentation and reporting.
  • Offer duty rate quotations, assist with billing, issue refunds, and coordinate with customs to release freight.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 2–4 years in customs documentation or freight forwarding; at least 6 months to 1 year in a similar environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical thinking, PC proficiency, and a solid understanding of sea freight operations.
  • Customer Focus: You’re responsive, resourceful, and committed to providing excellent service.
  • Adaptability: Ready to learn all aspects of the business and support your team wherever needed.
  • Self-Starter Attitude: Disciplined, motivated, and eager to lead and grow within the organization.

  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
