Lynden Logistics is seeking a Customs Entry Writer in SeaTac, WA to support our customs brokerage team. You will prepare customs entries, coordinate with carriers and agencies, and ensure compliant clearance of shipments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory knowledge, and proactive communication with clients. A safety-sensitive position with comprehensive benefits awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Four years of international freight, customs brokerage, or import/export experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain TSA STA credential and pass pre-employment screening.
• Familiarity with ISF filings, OGA entries, or customs compliance programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compliant ISF, Customs, and OGA entries.
• Track and monitor air, ocean, truck, and rail imports.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and carriers for cargo releases.
• Respond to client and foreign agent inquiries with shipment status updates.
• Prepare client invoices and ensure timely processing.
• Manage client HTS tables and tariff classifications.
• Maintain audit-ready shipment files (electronic and physical).
• Collaborate with customs officials, carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
