Job summary
Hillebrand Gori is seeking a Customs Entry Writer in Edison, NJ. You will ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations, processing entries to CBP, calculating tariffs, and validating documentation for release of shipments.
You will work with internal teams and external customers to support timely and accurate clearance. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in CargoWise and MS Office, and 3+ years in shipping/logistics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management industry/transportation.
- Customs-licensed individual may be needed.
- Experience using CargoWise preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel.
Responsibilities
- Process documents through the ACE portal.
- Process ACH Duty payments.
- Handle CF28/CF29 requests for information.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver high level of service.
- Maintain recordkeeping per US Customs rules and regulations.
- Provide impeccable customer service.
- Serve as primary customs representative for accounts.
