Job summary

MOHR Talent is hiring a Customs Entry Specialist for its Jamaica, NY onsite operation near JFK Airport. The ideal candidate has customs clearance, import, freight forwarding or logistics experience and is fluent in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese.

You will prepare and process import/export docs, support clearance and cargo release, classify goods using HTS codes, and track shipments from arrival to delivery. English fluency is required; position is on-site full-time.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customs brokerage, customs clearance, freight forwarding, import, or logistics experience preferred.
• Related education in international business, supply chain, transportation, or logistics may be considered.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is required.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import, export, and customs documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customs clearance, import, freight forwarding, or logistics experience who is fluent in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese and wants to grow within international logistics and customs brokerage.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and process import, export, and customs documentation
• Support customs clearance and cargo release

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of customs brokerage, customs clearance, freight forwarding, import, or logistics experience preferred

• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
• Comfortable working onsite full-time in Jamaica, NY
