Mohr Talent, a well established global logistics and freight forwarding company, is seeking a Customs Entry Writer for Ontario, CA, in-person. The role offers $24-$29 per hour, full-time, and a direct path into our import/export team.

You will clear goods, coordinate delivery, work with carriers and customers, and ensure compliant documentation. English fluency required; bilingual skills in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance (coursework may count)
• Fluent English required (read/write/speak)
• Bilingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a big plus

Responsibilities

• Clear goods through customs and coordinate delivery to final destination
• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, and customers to keep freight moving on time
• Track, trace, and update customers on shipment status
• Verify customs clearance and freight release for shipment availability
• Classify goods using tariff coding system and calculate duty/tariff payments
• Prepare import/export documentation in line with regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers, forwarders, and clients

A well established global logistics and freight forwarding company with a multi decade track record and offices across the US and overseas is hiring a Customs Entry Specialist to join their growing import/export team.

Customs Entry Writer
Ontario, CA | In-Person | $24 - $29 /hr | Full-Time

What You'll Do:

• Clear goods through customs and coordinate delivery to final destination
• Work directly with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, and customers to keep freight moving on time
• Track, trace, and proactively update customers on shipment status
• Verify customs clearance and freight release for shipment availability
• Classify goods using the tariff coding system and calculate duty/tariff payments
• Prepare import/export documentation in line with customs regulations
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, forwarders, and clients

What You Bring:

• 1+ year of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance preferred (candidates with coursework in International Business, Supply Chain, or Transportation/Logistics also encouraged to apply)
• Fluent English required (read/write/speak)
• Bilingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a big plus
