Customs Compliance Specialist

Position Overview: The Regulatory Compliance Specialist (LCB) will serve as an internal and external resource on import regulatory issues, focusing on product classifications and trade laws. Your role involves educating customers and internal teams to ensure compliance with CBP regulations and PGAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and evaluate product classifications in compliance with Customs requirements.
  2. Monitor AD/CVD developments and communicate updates promptly.
  3. Provide regulatory information and advisories to customers and internal teams.
  4. Conduct regulatory audits regularly.
  5. Assist in creating and maintaining training materials and publications.
  6. Educate customers and teams on regulatory changes.
  7. Contribute to company publications and outreach programs.
  8. Participate in regulatory sales campaigns.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in Customs brokerage and forwarding, focusing on classifications.
  • Licensed Customs Brokers preferred; exam candidates considered.
  • Background in Supply Chain Logistics or International Business preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience with PC, Microsoft Office, databases, and vendor systems.
  • Experience with PGA and ADD/CVD required.
