MOHR Talent is partnering with an established customs brokerage and international logistics company to hire a Customs Brokerage Representative in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will support customers, shipments, and daily freight operations, ensuring smooth import/export processes and timely communications.

Ideal candidates bring customs brokerage experience, knowledge of import/export, and familiarity with U.S. customs procedures.

Job Description

Customs Brokerage Representative
Elk Grove Village, IL| $28-$30/Hour
Full-Time | Onsite
Customs brokerage experience highly preferred

We're partnering with an established customs brokerage and international logistics company that is hiring a Customs Brokerage Representative to support customers, shipments, and daily freight operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in customs brokerage, import/export operations, and freight forwarding who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and keeping international shipments moving efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage customer inquiries related to customs brokerage and international shipments
• Track shipments, provide updates, and resolve delays
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokerage teams
• Prepare and maintain import/export and shipping documentation
• Support customs clearance, freight quotes, and shipment processing
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely customer communication

What They're Looking For

• Customs brokerage experience highly preferred
• Experience with import/export, freight forwarding, or international logistics
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs procedures and shipping documentation
• Familiarity with ocean, air, or ground freight operations
• Experience with logistics software or customs brokerage systems preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
