Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Customs Brokerage Agent in Memphis, TN to prepare customs entries and review import documents for accuracy and compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and tariff codes, with experience in CargoWise One.

You will interface with customers on CBP deliveries, track shipments, and coordinate with steamship lines and freight forwarders. The position is contract to hire and onsite in Memphis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Customs Broker License is a plus, but not required
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of current U.S. Customs regulations and Harmonized Tariff Codes
• Proficiency in CargoWise One
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Manage daily tracking report for open shipments.
• Track and trace shipments coordinating with steamship lines, freight forwarders, and CFS.

• Identify products subject to OGA’s.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
