Job summary

Edsi-9 is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to schedule and manage van transport for participants and staff in the Livonia area. The role requires safe driving, timely pickups, and accurate documentation of shuttle activities.

The candidate should be organized with strong communication skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office for daily logs and audits. Prior experience in a business environment is preferred, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be organized and able to communicate effectively.
• Experience in a business environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule transportation for participants via company van.
• Safely transport participants and staff to job fairs, city buildings, meetings, and interviews.
• Arrive on time for scheduled rider pick-ups.
• Prepare transportation paperwork for audits.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle.
• Notify participants about the van shuttle service policies.
• Communicate with staff regarding participants who do not follow the shuttle policies.
• Provide courteous and respectful customer service.
• Log all shuttle schedule and van maintenance information in Excel databases.
• Schedule and coordinate required maintenance for van.
• Deliver or pick-up inter-office and customer documents when requested.
• Adhere to program policies and procedures.
• Document participant contacts in case notes, as needed.
• Perform monthly facility safety audits and assist with emergency planning tasks and annual safety drills.
• Greet visitors and answer telephones in a pleasant and efficient manner.
