Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division in Chanhassen, MN is hiring a Customer Support Specialist. You will enter orders, coordinate transport, and support customers and market channels with pricing, equipment identification, and expediting.

You’ll manage orders, RMAs, and billing, coordinate shipping with Operations and remote warehouses, and prepare spare parts/service proposals. Strong communication and familiarity with Salesforce/SAP are assets.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR HS degree/GED with 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Location: within 50 miles of Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders, RMAs, credit memos, and billing orders accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate shipping details with Operations and Sales and remote warehouses to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide fast, courteous service on pricing, parts identification, and order details via call center.
• Prepare spare parts/service proposals and follow up to grow parts and service sales.
• Contribute to process improvements to speed response and enhance customer experience.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for entering orders and coordinating order transport accurately, timely and efficiently. This role is also expected to establish and maintain a working relationship with customers, assisting them and market channels in pricing, equipment identification, and expediting.Job Responsibilities• Provide fast, accurate and courteous customer service on pricing, parts identification, order details, service availability, freight information, parts availability and general information through the call center for customers and market channels to create and maintain a competitive advantage through superior service.• Enter customer orders, RMAs, credit memos and billing only orders accurately and promptly to meet customer requirements and to enhance on-time shipping performance and asset management• Manage all shipping details for customer orders in coordination with the Operations and Sales groups, all remote warehouse facilities and customer requirements to ensure timely and cost effective transport of product.• Prepare and execute spare parts and/or service proposals and recommendations in response to customer inquiries and as follow-up service on orders to help grow sales of parts and service• Seek and assist continuous improvement in processes and procedures used in order to maintain up-to-date information, to speed response/service and to enhance sales to customers and through our market channels.• Keep job skills and product knowledge current through participation in in-house training and outside educational opportunities to provide maximum value to the customer service representative position, to our customers and to Eaton.• Other duties as assigned by ManagerQualifications:Required Qualifications:• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR HS degree/GED and minimum three (3) years of experience in Customer Service• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship• No relocation is offered for this position.
