Open Systems Technologies in Ashburn is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Technician to perform rack-and-stack, maintain server, storage, and network gear, and support data-center operations onsite.

You will diagnose faults, coordinate vendor repairs, manage asset inventories (DCIM), and follow safety and environmental standards while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack, power distribution, cooling, KVM, and cabling standards.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, switches, routers, VLANs, and patch panels.
• Familiarity with incident/change management workflows, asset tracking, and DCIM/ticketing platforms.
• Ability to read rack elevations, network diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks independently and participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
• Effective communication with cross-functional IT teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during onsite shifts.

• Maintain accurate asset inventories (DCIM), write root-cause analyses, update knowledge bases, and log issues in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Adhere strictly to data center safety, security, power, and environmental standards.

Pay: $65-70/hr

No c2c/3rd Parties

Must be local; No relocation
