Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a Customer Service Representative to engage with customers, process orders, and maintain accurate account information. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, organization, and the ability to learn Amtech and customer portals.

You will work as the main internal contact for Sales, coordinate with shipping, and strive to ensure customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and accurate data management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using Amtech operating system.
• Proficient in email communication.
• Ability to learn and navigate customer web portals.

• Strong communication, organized, detail oriented, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Escalate queries to the Customer Service Manager.
• Enter all orders following six checkpoints and acknowledge within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate customer data in Amtech Customer Master.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products or services.
• Handle customer complaints and short pays in Amtech.
• Coordinate customer pickups of defective products with shipping.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and Territory Managers.
• Serve as primary internal contact for Sales.
• Inform customers of late or partial shipments and determine resolution.
• Generate and maintain quotes distributed by Sales.
• Qualify order due dates and monitor machine hours and plant loading for bookings.
