Responsibilities
- ” Management of all support (helpdesk) and SCADA support personnel in all day-to-day operations
- ” Management of on-call rotation for support group employees
- ” Monitoring and improvement of all team members’ performance by assessing skill levels and focusing on team member development
- ” Identification of roadblocks for the team and working to remove them
- ” Tracking all customer issues using helpdesk software
- ” Resolution of electronic flow meter communications issues
- ” Setting up new points / customers
- ” Coaching team to provide excellent customer service support
- ” Assisting in the resolution of customer issues
- ” Resolution of daily archive data acquisition issues
- ” Delegation of trouble tickets that are more complicated in nature
- ” Coordination of all major problems/issues in the field for resolution
- ” Interaction and main liaison with Field Services Manager for nightly check in and management of issues
- ” Management of all hiring and firing in helpdesk support group
Requirements
- ” Education – College Degree or Technical Certification
- ” Management/Project Management – 3 to 4 Years
- ” Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills
- ” Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
- ” Demonstrated experience Programming PLCs and Flow Computers (Orifice and Turbine)
- ” Knowledgeable in SCADA Protocols, Data Communications and Computer Security Practices
- ” Working knowledge of PCs, TCP/IP, Windows Operating Systems, Excel and Internet Explorer
- ” Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ” Ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship
