Juno Group, INC seeks a Technical Leader to manage a development team delivering SaaS solutions for the oil and gas industry. You will interface with management, guide developers, and drive agile processes to ensure timely, quality releases.

You will lead architecture discussions, establish standards, and mentor team members to achieve peak performance while balancing priorities and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development leadership (Manager/Director) with proven delivery track record.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Full development lifecycle experience from design to deployment.
• Microsoft Stack/Platform including .NET.
• SPA architecture and SQL proficiency.
• Cloud computing technologies and troubleshooting skills.

Job description

A firm that provides technical/SaaS solutions for the oil and gas industry is looking for a Technical Leader to manage their development team.

Responsibilities:

• Interface between Developers and the Management team; communicate company strategies and tactical decisions to the Developers, and communicate concerns and issues from the Developers to the Management team
• Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and motivation to lead team members to their optimum performance levels; provide all necessary information and direction and obtain needed tools, resources, etc.
• Assist with the Agile development process to manage and facilitate the development work
• Assist the development team in using Agile methodology to manage project backlog, provide schedules to entire organization and track work against committed schedules
• Assist Product and Project Managers in clearly defining product requirements and managing the process of getting the requirements implemented and deployed
• Establish development standards and expectations from the team and oversee their technical and professional growth
• Maintain a working environment that promotes productivity, accountability, responsiveness, high staff morale, motivation and excellence
• Recommend new technology directions that are aligned with the organization and industry best practices
• Participate in defining and implementing technical architecture for assigned projects
• Work with Support and Documentation groups to provide technical and user training materials for new and enhanced system behaviors

Requirements/Must Have:

• Management Experience – minimum 5 years experience including record of successful delivery of software applications as a Development leader (Manager/Director); possesses good management skills
• Agile and Scrum Development Methodologies
• Full Development Life Cycle
• Microsoft Stack/Platform including .NET
• Single Page Application Architecture
• SQL
• Cloud Computing Technologies
• Troubleshooting – strong problem resolution skills; proactive and can react accordingly to unforeseen problems/issues
• Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Oil and Gas EFM Devices, RTU Devices, Communication Devices, Pressure and Tank Level Devices
