Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a skilled professional for a third-shift role bridging the plant and client. You will analyze non-conformances, verify products, and maintain test equipment while serving as the communication link between the Customer Plant and our client.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, an engineering degree, and strong computer skills (Excel/IRS). Excellent communication and organization are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial analysis of non-conformances
• Verify suspect product and maintain test equipment
• Act as liaison between Customer Plant and client
• Expedite non-conforming material same day
• Enter data into IRS
• Provide technical support and system knowledge
• Coordinate initial 24-hour containment
• Coordinate additional containment as required
• Contribute to response teams
• Write weekly trip reports and monitor PPM rates
• Coordinate special event activities
• Develop customer relationships to improve product and grow the business

Job description

Must have wire harness experience and strong customer engagement

Shift:

3rd shift

The successful candidate will serve as the link between the plant and the manufacturing facility. The candidate will also be required to re-verify parts within the computer system. Candidate should be computer literate and familiar with Excel, Word, and email. This person should be highly organized and have superior communication skills as he/she will interface with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a good first level analysis of non-conformances
• Verify all suspect product and maintain product test equipment
• Be the communication link between Customer Plant and our client
• Expedite non-confirming material back to our client same day
• Input data into Incident Reporting System (IRS)
• Provide technical support and system understanding
• Conduct/coordinate initial 24 hour containment
• Coordinate additional containment where required
• Be an integral part of the response teams
• Write a weekly trip reportMonitor/negotiate Global Customer Base Return Parts Per Million (PPM) rates
• Provide/coordinate special event activity
• Develop customer relationships in the plant to improve the product and maintain or increase the business

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of related work experience
• Training in computer applications
• College degree with a major in Engineering
