Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a seasoned Networking Engineer for the Customer Success TAC Team in Sunnyvale, CA. This onsite position is designed to work from an HPE office, focusing on triage, escalation, and resolving complex Layer 2/3 and Wi‑Fi issues for our customers.

You will build and maintain testbeds, analyze logs, reproduce issues, and collaborate with developers to drive rapid, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking.
• In-depth knowledge of 802.11 Wi‑Fi standards.
• HPE Router & Switch Certifications is a plus.
• Experience level: 8+ years.
• BA/BS/MS in EECS or related subject area.

Responsibilities

• Triage and Resolve Customer Support Escalations from multiple inbound channels.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness, and experience.
• Build and maintain layer 2/3 network testbeds.
• Understand features and reproduce customer issues.
• File tickets on bugs found.
• Analyze logs and pinpoint root causes.
• Work with developers and drive solutions.
• Participate in relevant meetings and provide status reports.

BA/BS/MS in EECS or related subject area

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 135,500 - 275,000 in California The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
