Responsibilities

  • Provide price quotes and maintain contract terms in the system.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer invoices.
  • Collaborate with Ocean, product management, and shared service centers.
  • Quote customers per company policies and standards.
  • Execute and update contracts in a timely manner.
  • Plan contract renewals with stakeholders.
  • Engage legal/regulatory for pricing decisions.
  • Meet deadlines and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Review contract performance for compliance.
  • Assist with Monthly/Quarterly Business Review prep.
  • Lead commercial negotiations for Ocean offers.
  • Cross-sell Ocean+ products and manage opportunities with Salesforce hygiene.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support commercial operations, contract management, pricing, and customer account activities within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role partners closely with customers, sales teams, product teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure pricing accuracy, contract compliance, and a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering high-quality service while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing price quotes to customers and ensuring the agreed prices and terms are correctly updated in the contract management system.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of invoices sent to customers.
  • Close collaboration with customers and various departments including Ocean and LNS Product management, off shored shared service centres (GSC), Client Managers, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Quote customers, utilizing company processes, policies, and standards.
  • Ensure that contract agreements are correctly executed and updated in a timely manner and maintained in the contract system utilizing company processes, policies, and standards.
  • Collaboration with Client Managers, proactively conduct contract renewal planning meetings to identify client contract requirements, establish an action plan to execute on them for the purpose of delivering the customer a complete, and correct contract on time.
  • Engage with the necessary stakeholders who have a part in price decisions such as Legal or Regulatory requirements, contract standards, and operational cost for extraordinary services.
  • Meet deadlines and communicate on an ongoing basis with internal stakeholders.
  • Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution.
  • Assist with Monthly/Quarterly Business Review preparation and presentations.
  • Lead commercial functions and negotiations for Ocean offers.
  • Cross-sell Ocean+ products Manage Ocean opportunities end-to-end while maintaining strong Salesforce hygiene.

Experience
  • Experience supporting Clients and Sales teams in the transport and logistics industry, including manager contract conflicts and issue resolution, addressing service pricing/cost inquiries, creating service price/cost quotes, review and reference sales contract term and pricing
  • Experience using web-based software
  • Able to create and modify documents in MS Word
  • Able to export data in Excel, sort and filter data
  • Create and modify spreadsheets, use basic formulas and pivot tables
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Advanced or Bachelor’s Degree in logistics/supply chain related fields preferred. At least 2 years of work experience Industry experience in any of the following: supply chain, ocean carrier, transportation logistics, and shipping logistics is highly preferred. Experience using a CRM, especially Salesforce. Must be proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Job Type & Salary

Job Type: Full Time Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
