Job summary

Hunting is seeking a Customer Service/Order Management professional to handle quotations, sales orders, and customer communication. You will coordinate with multiple departments, maintain product knowledge, implement pricing policies, and support expediting deliveries while ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

The role involves daily interaction with production meetings via Teams, inventory control in D365, and forklift/pallet jack operation. Flexibility for rotating shifts is expected.

Responsibilities

• Formulate quotations at customer request, write sales orders, and relay pertinent order information to customers.
• Coordinate with other departments on handling sales orders and providing service to customers.
• Perform numerous functions as contained in the Customer Service Department work instructions.
• Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of all company products and services.
• Implement all approved pricing policies and procedures.
• Promote and maintain company goodwill in all business and personal contacts with the public.
• Cooperate with other departments to accomplish mutual goals.
• Prepare and submit Customer Complaint and Lost Business Reports.
• Attend bi-weekly production meetings via Teams and communicate order status.
• Direct priorities and schedule changes to meet expedited deliveries.
• Perform around the clock customer service on a rotational basis or as directed by supervisor.
• Review cost summaries and advise the Service Manager of questionable costs.
• Receive finished goods after being manufactured.
• Place finished goods into inventory physically and electronically in D365.
• Pull finished goods from inventory as indicated on router and update in D365.
• Label pulled orders with customer information as indicated on router.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jack, etc.
• Perform semi-annual inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the finished goods area.
• Exercise discretion in order management to ensure customer satisfaction; not responsible for workmanship or quality judgments.
