Customer Success Manager – Controls NAM (South Region)

Job Summary

The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for managing and developing strong relationships with existing contractual customers, while driving growth in controls aftermarket services within the existing customer base. The role involves ensuring that our products and services deliver value and help customers achieve their business goals, particularly through growth in Controls Lifecare Service (CLS) agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage post-sales relationships, including training, professional services, technical support, renewals, and expansion.
  • Oversee contract setup, delivery, and financials (Revenue & CM).
  • Develop expertise in controls systems, contributing to strategy and policy development.
  • Build proactive, long-term customer relationships focusing on renewal rates and NPS.
  • Implement engagement strategies to maintain high customer satisfaction and feedback collection.
  • Serve as the primary contact for contract and customer issues.
  • Educate customers on product value and identify upsell opportunities for CLS.
  • Achieve order plans, support commercial strategies, and develop proposals for aftermarket services.
  • Relay customer insights to internal teams, including Sales, Product, Technical Support, and Engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of controls experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of controls experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with GE Controls Products, especially Mark VIe control systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and residence within the South Region (states listed in the original description).
Preferred Skills
  • 10+ years of experience with GE control systems.
  • 6+ years in OT Cyber Security, especially in field or OTR engineering.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving and program management abilities.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $104,200 to $155,000 annually, with potential for a 15% performance bonus and geographic differentials. Benefits include competitive packages, career development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
