Job summary

TRG Manufacturing Search Division seeks a Customer Service Manager to lead a small customer service and inside sales team for an established manufacturer of engineered equipment for the electric power industry.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will streamline order tracking via ERP/CRM, coordinate with sales, engineering, production, shipping and quality, and foster stronger cross-department collaboration to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, communications, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of customer service or customer support experience, including team leadership.
• Experience supporting business customers, ideally in manufacturing or another technical environment.
• Ability to use ERP or CRM systems to track orders and communicate accurate updates.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• A self-directed, adaptable approach and willingness to work through the details with your team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small customer service and inside sales team and improve how the company supports its business customers.
• Use ERP data to track orders and inform customers about production and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, production, shipping, and quality to resolve concerns.
• Help introduce new planning and communication tools as the business grows.
• Provide customers with clear, honest answers when challenges arise and work with internal teams to find a path forward.
