The role involves identifying customer needs, building relationships, and delivering accurate information using the right tools. You will report to the Customer Service Manager and handle inquiries via phone, email or mail, with duties including order placement, refunds, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and excellent verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information using the right tools/methods.
• Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions within the time frame and follow up.

• Place orders, process refunds and invoices as needed.
• Monitor inventory and assist with project tasks.

Job Description

Position Overview

Serve as the main point of contact for our customers in your assigned region.

Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, the CSR responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time frame and follow up to ensure solution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Resolve customer complaints via phone, email or mailPlacement of orders, refunds or invoices
• Researching customer late payments
• Interacting with multiple people to complete a task
• Monitoring inventory
• Working as a team on projects
• Entering data into computer program such as excel, work, or AS400 system
• Works closely with sales team
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements

In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• 1-3 years in a Customer Service role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs
• Excellent communication skills - Verbal and Written
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions

• Generally works in an office setting but will be required to spend time each day inside a plant environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
• The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
• The noise level is frequently loud.
