SurfacePrep is seeking a Customer Service Specialist/Warehouse Team Member in San Antonio, TX to bridge customer needs with office and warehouse operations. You will handle orders, inquiries, inventory, and shipping coordination to ensure timely fulfillment.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and hands-on warehouse skills, including forklift operation. You will collaborate with sales, logistics, and accounting to maintain records and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service, warehouse, distribution, or logistics.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems (CRM/ERP).
• Strong communication, organization, problem solving, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, orders, quotes, returns, and product support.
• Process orders and inventory requests accurately using CRM, ERP, and WMS.
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, accounting, carriers, and 3PLs for timely fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate customer, inventory, shipping, and warehouse records.
• Assist with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and organizing products.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Communicate shipment updates, resolve service issues, and follow up with customers.
• Complete required shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer service documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment in office and warehouse.
• Support continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration.
