Job summary

Michaels Stores in Westminster, CO is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, pleasant checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising, participate in Omni-channel tasks such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and support store recovery to keep shelves in stock.

This role requires standing for long periods and lifting; shifts include nights, weekends and early mornings,

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store; support safety and shrink initiatives.
