Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Customer Service team member in Marshall, MN. This hourly role supports in-store services, handles a variety of customer transactions, and ensures a welcoming atmosphere.

You’ll assist with mailing, money orders, licenses, and other store services while maintaining accuracy and a helpful attitude. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, possess strong math skills, and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Over six months up to one year of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and store leadership.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Weigh postal packages, run mail through meters, and process various mail types.
• Sell money orders and cash checks, and assist with Western Union services.
• Assist customers with dry cleaning, bottle refunds, and other store services.
• Answer phone calls and use the intercom system following proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to Hy-Vee policies.
