Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate II in Miamisburg, Ohio. You will help with daily store operations, assist customers, and rotate between merchandising and front-end duties as needed.

You’ll join a team focused on creating a clean, welcoming shopping environment. You’ll handle cash transactions, maintain cash accuracy, stock shelves, and support safety and integrity of store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and endure frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness including restrooms and floors.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and safeguarding cash/assets.
• Following security procedures and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
