Job summary

Lowe’s in Gonzales, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, practical support for home improvement needs. You’ll work in-store, interact with customers all day, and adapt to department needs while delivering accurate service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying data)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction)
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods and perform job duties
• Lift up to 25 lbs unaided or with assistance as needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Stock replenishment and merchandise maintenance on shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
