Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Liberty, MO seeks a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement projects.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure needs are met with friendly, professional service. You will also help load merchandise, process orders, and may cross-train in other departments to maintain top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or more with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
