Job summary

The Habegger Corporation - Illinois/Iowa Regional Office is seeking a Customer Service / Sales Rep to support sales, customer service, and showroom activities. You will communicate with customers by phone and in person, promote sales, and assist with will-call orders while keeping the showroom organized.

The position offers a competitive wage of $17-$22/hr., plus potential annual bonuses up to $4,000, and eligibility for merit increases up to 3% depending on corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
• Basic computer literacy to process orders and look up information.
• Capability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate related equipment.
• Willingness to be trained on forklift operations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and customer service objectives with professional customer interactions.
• Promote sales, monthly specials, and showroom counter offers to customers.
• Assist will-call customers by picking up and loading orders accurately.
• Perform administrative warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, and facilities maintenance.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and stay up to date with company processes and policies.

YOUR LIFE AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE / SALES REP

In this position, you play an integral part in supporting our sales, profit, and customer service objectives. Your professional nature serves you well as you communicate with customers both over the phone and in person. Each person trusts you with their needs because you listen intently and sincerely seek personalized HVAC solutions. While serving customers in the showroom, you confidently promote sales, monthly specials, and counter specials. You serve will-call customers by picking up and loading orders in an accurate and efficient manner as well as maintaining showroom cleanliness.

Behind the scenes, you perform administrative warehouse duties including, shipping, receiving, and facilities maintenance. With close attention to detail, you process and coordinate the filling of customer orders. Because you always stay up to date on company processes, policies, and procedures, you're able to perform your administrative duties in an effective and successful manner. You enjoy that each day is a little different and find fulfillment in contributing to the company's success!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Exceptiona​l communication skills
• Working knowledge of HVAC terms
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to regularly lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift or be willing to be trained on it is a plus
