Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly, reliable shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, restock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.

This role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to work part-time in Sanford, NC. Training and advancement opportunities are offered as part of a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned*.
