Job summary

Hireology, Inc. is seeking a Center Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in a retail setting. The role involves processing packages, operating copiers and POS devices, and advising customers on product and service options.

Training new staff may be part of the duties, with a focus on accuracy and best practices. Part-time and full-time positions are available, offering opportunities to work with a variety of equipment and to learn industry trends while maintaining a customer-first

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to cross-sell and upsell products and services.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Texas Notary Public license or eligibility.

Job description

The Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, specialized print equipment, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, notary services and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.

Part-time and Full-time positions available

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assist with training new employees

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Retail/customer service experience
• Good communication and people skills
• Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
• Existing Texas Notary Public License or eligibility to become a Texas Notary Public
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds assisted
• Able to stand the full scheduled shift
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
