Reports to: Customer Service Manager

Job Duties:

  1. Liaison between customers and sales staff
  2. Answer incoming calls
  3. Investigate errors
  4. File claims
  5. Intercept shipments
  6. Personal point of contact for customers and staff
  7. Confirm shipments
  8. Provide assistance to potential new distributors
  9. Forward sales leads
  10. Provide production information to customers and staff

Data Entry for:

  • Processing orders
  • Updating customer accounts
  • Log claims for freight companies
  • National account order forms
  • Pricing
  • Process various reports
  • Map “ship-to’s” and item cross-reference in MAPADOC
  • E-mail invoices to customers upon request
  • Distribute incoming faxes
  • Retrieve orders from several order processing partners

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Written skills for email communication
  • Customer Service experience
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, e-mail (MAS 200, Lotus Notes, and UPS/FedEx/Expressworks a plus)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of customer concerns, complaints, and situations
