Ace Handyman Services Montclair is expanding and seeks a friendly, energetic Customer Service Representative / Scheduling Coordinator to join our Montclair office. The role starts part-time and can grow into full-time based on performance, needs, and growth potential.

Ace Handyman Services Montclair is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, energetic and organized Customer Service Representative / Scheduling Coordinator to join our office team.

This position can start part-time and grow into a full-time role based on performance, ability and the needs of our growing business. If you're good at what you do and want more responsibility and hours, there is plenty of opportunity here.

What you’ll do

• You’ll be one of the first people our customers interact with, so personality matters.
• You’ll answer incoming calls, texts and customer inquiries; learn about customers' projects; ask the right questions; explain our services and pricing; and confidently turn qualified opportunities into booked appointments.
• You’ll also help coordinate schedules for our craftsmen, follow up with customers and leads, maintain accurate job information, and work closely with our office and field teams to keep each day running smoothly.
• This is more than answering phones. We need someone who can listen to a customer, understand what they need, make them feel comfortable and confidently ask for the business.

Who we're looking for

• Previous customer service, scheduling, dispatching, inside sales or office experience is preferred.
• Experience with a home-service company such as handyman services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, remodeling or another residential service business is a major plus.
• ServiceTitan experience is a BIG PLUS and will definitely get our attention.
• Most importantly, you need to be great with people.
• We're looking for someone who is friendly, confident on the phone, organized, dependable and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You should be comfortable with computers and technology and able to learn new systems quickly.
• You should also understand that when the phone rings, there's a potential customer on the other end. Our goal isn't simply to answer their questions. It's to take care of them, earn their trust and, whenever we're the right company for the job, get them scheduled.
• If you have customer service, scheduling, dispatching or inside-sales experience and you're friendly, organized and confident talking with customers, we want to meet you.
• If you have ServiceTitan or home-services experience, even better.

Compensation & opportunity

• Starting pay is $20+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• This is a W-2 position with the opportunity to grow from part-time into full-time based on performance.
