Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Customer Service Representative in Lebanon, TN, working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The role focuses on assisting customers with freight pickup requests, rate quotes, freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing, and appointments. You will also support the Service Center Manager, Account Managers, and drivers in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent keyboarding skills and accuracy.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
• Experience handling a high volume of phone calls.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Overview

This is a Part Time position, Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Responsibilities

Customer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquires including freight pickup requests, rate quotes or freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing and appointments or special requests.

• Assist the Service Center Manager
• Take and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account Managers
• Provide assistance to Drivers
• Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts
• Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to perform administrative and clerical tasks in an office and Service Center environment.
