Job summary

State of Missouri, Division of Professional Registration, State Board of Nursing, is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Jefferson City to review licensure applications and communicate with applicants and licensees.

The role requires strong communication skills, multi-tasking, and the ability to organize workflow and meet deadlines. Base pay is $39,227 and includes potential for additional pay differentials. This is a government position with good benefits.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience reviewing and processing official documents such as claims, applications or legal documentation.
• Experience as an Associate Customer Service Representative preferred.
• Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in business or public administration may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for licensure, determine authenticity of documents, and ensure statutory requirements are satisfied.
• Correspond with applicants regarding errors and solutions.
• Enter information from the application into the licensure system.
• Prepare applications and supporting documentation for board review.
• Respond to written and verbal inquiries regarding requirements for licensure, fees, license status and the laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the board.
• Review national licensing database to check for complaints and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain a filing system and prepare records for digital imaging.

Base Salary $39,227 (The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.)

Minimum Qualifications

• One or more years of experience as an Associate Customer Service Representative
