About The Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative on our Iowa Medicaid Support Team, you will be the primary contact for applicants and current recipients of the Iowa Medicaid Program. Your role will involve providing empathetic, knowledgeable assistance to help beneficiaries navigate their inquiries, document enrollment requests, and maintain accurate records in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Iowa Medicaid inquiries from potential and existing members
  • Provide personalized support via phone with professionalism and empathy
  • Accurately document enrollment requests and track status changes
  • Input application data using online systems efficiently
  • Maintain expertise in Iowa Family Care rules and program policies
  • Deliver clear, accurate information consistent with program requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic understanding of call center operations and quality monitoring
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in computer navigation and data entry
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access
  • Must live within one hour of Des Moines, Iowa
  • Successful background check required
