Job summary

The Structures Company in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a Customer Service Representative I on a contract basis (six months with potential for extension). You will handle quotes, orders, and ERP data, ensuring accurate pricing and timely deliveries for a top-tier client.

The role requires a U.S. Person to comply with ITAR, a high school diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in-office.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person required under ITAR.

• Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Requests lead time, price, and data to build quotes for non-priced materials and prepares and submits quotes to customers.
• Liaises and follows up with internal departments to create part numbers and update pricing information in ERP.
• Reviews all customer order terms and conditions to protect the business interest of the Company.
• Reviews orders prior to entering into system for correct pricing, order numbers, and part numbers to ensure accuracy of all data.
• Receives, reviews, and acknowledges customer purchase orders, utilizing SPEC 2000, EDI, or AEROXCHANGE where applicable.
• Identifies alternative solutions for required material or requested information to respond to customer needs.
• Monitors backlog and proactively informs customers of recovery plans if promise dates will slip.

• Knowledge of ERP systems (a plus).
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong phone etiquette.
