Job summary

The Structures Company in Everett, WA is seeking a Field Service Technician II to replace and troubleshoot electronic components, adjust assembly panels, and perform electrical diagnostics on aerospace equipment. This role requires reading engineering drawings and CMM data, plus hands-on use of hand and power tools.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of field service experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel 2–4 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Field Service experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Familiar with CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office familiarity.
• Proficient with smartphones or tablets for emails and apps.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Willing to travel 2–4 weeks per year and work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Replaces and troubleshoots faulty electronic components and damaged parts.
• Adjusts misaligned panels, trim pieces, harnesses, and electrical components.
• Uses hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Reads and interprets CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
• Performs hands-on electrical troubleshooting including voltage and continuity testing.
• Works in confined aircraft cabin spaces including under-seat, sidewall, and overhead stowage areas.
• Uses smart phones or tablets daily for emails, pictures, and other applications.

• Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools.
• Basic working knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Proficient using smart phones or tablets for emails, pictures, and applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting knowledge including testing voltage and continuity.
• Availability to work various hours, after hours, and weekends as needed; travel approximately 2-4 weeks per year.
