Job summary

Country Visions Cooperative is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Chilton Agronomy location in Chilton, WI. This in-person, first-shift role may require some Saturday work during peak seasons.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in agriculture preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service driven mentality with a willingness to learn.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable activities.
• Customer billing responsibilities along with other team members.
• Provide excellent customer service in-person and over the phone.
• Answer the phone and coordinate calls according to the customer’s needs.
• Assist with inventory procedures—chemical, fertilizer and seed inventory.
• Use Microsoft Excel to work in spreadsheets for various tasks and projects.
• Assist customers and team members by reading and understanding Farm Plans and Mapping.
• Flexible to the needs of the business, customers and the day.
• Effectively communicate with other team members on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Details: Job Location: AGRONOMY GRAIN and LP GAS DEPT CHILTON - CHILTON, WI 53014, Country Visions Cooperative is looking to fill a full-time Customer Service Representative at our Chilton Agronomy location. This position is first shift and located in-person. There will be some Saturday work as needed during the busy season.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform accounts payable activities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to work in spreadsheets for various tasks and projects
• Assist customers and team members by reading and understanding Farm Plans and Mapping
• Flexible to the needs of the business, customers and the day
• Effectively communicate with other team members on a daily basis
• Use company computer programs effectively in completing daily tasks
• Other duties as assigned by manager

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBLES

• Assist with ordering and managing seed inventory for multiple locations
• Learn multiple seed ordering programs
• Attend seed meetings as well as training to stay up with new and upcoming items
• Coordinate and run yearly Intern Training program with Agronomy Marketing personnel
• Opportunities to assist with other marketing events and items
• Opportunity to occasionally go out and check fields for growers or agronomist
• Attend monthly sales meetings to be able to assist onsite with walk ins and other agronomic questions
• Provide agronomists with help calculating farm plans and writing NMPs
• Willingness to continue agronomy education with in-house and off-site training

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background in agriculture is preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service driven mentality with a willingness to learn
• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, specifically Excel and Word
• Accounts receivable and Accounts payable background is preferred but not required
