JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the face of Highland Rivers Behavioral Health. The CSR greets and directs individuals as they enter the facility. The CSR is knowledgeable in all programs and services provided at the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Promptly answer, screen, and process telephone inquiries with strict adherence to confidentiality and policies and procedures
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
  • Return all telephone messages in a timely manner
  • Provide information on HRH programs
  • Collect and enter the information of individuals served into the EHR system accurately and thoroughly
  • If applicable, ensure individuals are referred to the clinical team for triage
  • Respond to irate individuals in a calm and professional manner
  • Maintain current and up-to-date data concerning provider schedules, accepted insurance plans, and relevant information
  • Scan paper documents in a timely manner
  • Collect all monies due to HRH and post to Cash Sheet accurately
  • Check in/out all individuals served promptly
  • Complete the financial process accurately and timely
  • Uphold positive interpersonal relations among team members
  • Use initiative and sound judgment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
