Customer Service Representative - Cigna Healthcare - Remote

Summary

Are you a caring, curious, dedicated, and compassionate person who wants to make an impact on others' lives? Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is hiring customer service representatives to join our US Medical team.

Role Overview

Use your problem-solving and listening skills to assist Cigna Healthcare customers. You will answer questions about benefits, eligibility, prior authorizations, and claims. Additionally, you will suggest programs that support overall wellbeing.

Training & Work Environment

We provide 11-12 weeks of comprehensive training during your first 90 days to prepare you for success. This position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer 40+ calls daily, assisting customers with their inquiries.
  • Utilize multiple computer programs simultaneously during calls.
  • Resolve issues independently, aiming for resolution in one call.
  • Meet call center goals, providing accurate and professional information.
  • Listen attentively to understand customer needs and respond effectively.
  • Adapt to procedural or guideline changes while maintaining professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and enhance service.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace at home.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort with using computers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful in challenging situations.

Internet connection must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.

Compensation ranges from $17.75 to $19 per hour, depending on experience and location, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus.
