Job summary

CSS Employment Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative with 3PL experience to support order processing, billing, and shipping coordination in Southern California.

You will work with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping software to allocate orders, generate labels, and communicate with customers, warehouses, and vendors. Strong communication and reliability with deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a 3PL customer service environment.
• Knowledge of general warehouse practices.
• Experience with routing and vendor compliance for major retailers.
• Proficiency in small parcel shipping software including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip.
• Knowledge of VICS bills of lading requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines reliably.

The Customer Service Representative with 3PL experience plays a critical role within a cross-functional team, ensuring seamless order processing and communication between customers and warehouse operations. This position involves managing order allocations, generating shipping labels, coordinating routing requests, and maintaining accurate billing. Working primarily within standard business hours with occasional overtime, the representative uses Warehouse Management Systems and shipping software to support logistics and customer service functions effectively.
