Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support internal and external customers, process orders, resolve issues, and assist with pricing and sales support. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and collaborative teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or inside sales, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; NetSuite/Oracle knowledge is a plus. On-site role in California with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service or inside sales experience.
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word required.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or Oracle operating system preferred.
• Construction and/or manufacturing knowledge strongly desired.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduits all aspects of customer service including order input, inside sales, invoicing, and resolution of disputes.
• Produces documents and responds to inquiries both internal and external in a timely manner.
• Assists branch and sister branch personnel with order processing including status and availability.
• Assists with resolution of disputes for both internal and external customers.
• Contributes and fosters teamwork within the administrative function.
• Provides pricing for small light gauge job quotes where pricing is readily available.
• Provides support as needed to outside sales personnel.
• Coordinates delivery with shipping and traffic manager as necessary.

Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a multifaceted position with the overall broad objective of providing assistance and support to Metal Sales internal and external customers resulting in complete customer satisfaction and increased sales by coordinating all requests for information, promotional material, or products with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day customer service to include order entry, problem resolution, customer relationship management, correct invoicing, and sales support as necessary.

Additional Information

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $18.00 - $25.00 / hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.

Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.
