Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Cary, NC to facilitate quotations, purchase orders, and work orders while delivering prompt, courteous customer service. The role includes supporting sales from active and past customers and prospecting new business.

The position requires strong data entry, product knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Expect normal full-time hours with competitive benefits; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Job description

The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to facilitate quality and accurate Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded as well as prompt, courteous and professional responses to customer requests. The Customer Service Representative tasked with maintaining and growing the level of sales from current active and past non-active customers, and is able and willing to prospect new business

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data entry and accuracy being measured for orders into Oracle
• Scheduling/delivery coordinating for multiple plant sites
• Product knowledge, answering questions for customer support

Education/Additional Information:

• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
• 2+ years of construction products sales experience plus, but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish)is a plus but not required
• Previous roofing experience is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $21.00-$26.00 per hour+ medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
