Job summary

United Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Massachusetts. You will help customers in person and over the phone, enter orders, process payments, and support showroom operations.

The role requires strong communication, computer skills, and cash handling. You will work with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and advancement within Regency Management Services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Strong cash handling skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the system accurately and completely.
• Process payments to proper accounts.
• Maintain security of cash and other legal tenders.
• Prepare daily deposits in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule deliveries that are convenient for customers and in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain open orders and communicate order status with customers.
• Complete daily reporting requirements.
• Assist with showroom displays, tagging, and maintaining a customer-friendly showroom appearance.
• Support the Office Manager with additional duties as needed.
