Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative focused on cleaning and sanitation across assigned areas. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and maintaining a professional standard of conduct.

Shifts are M/W/F 8:00am-12:00pm with a pay rate of $16.00–$17.00 per hour. No strict education; 3–6 months training or experience preferred and forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Education requirement is not strict; training/experience considered.
• Safety training certification completed may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Work in a team with others.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow company protocols and rules.
• Take direction from supervision.
• Communicate professionally with staff and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Assist shift lead with punch-list items.
• Use required personal protective equipment.

Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Qualification

Education and/ or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• May be required to have a valid driver's license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
